Personalising Your Card Is Easy
Heritage Bank makes it easy to personalise and customise your Heritage Bank credit or debit cards. They give you an easy online tool that lets you choose any photo you want and then manipulate it to match your desired appearance on the card. You can even preview the finished result before you send in your request so that you can be absolutely sure that it looks just the way you want!
The fist step to personalise your Heritage Bank card is to go to www.chooseyourowncard.com. Once you are there you can select the type of card that you have by choosing one of the different card options. Even if you are not yet a current Heritage Bank customer you can choose a card and design it before you sign-up.
Once you have selected your specific card you will then have the option to search through pictures on your computer’ hard drive until you find just the right one. Then simply select your photo of choice and then use the tools to manipulate the picture until it looks just right. You can change the image’s size, make it a mirror image, make it larger or smaller and determine exactly how it will be placed on the card.
Once you are happy with it you can preview how your finished card will look and then make any changes to the image before you send in your request. How To Get The Best Photo Results
In order to make your customised photo card look its best, here are some recommendations to follow. High resolution photos will make a better appearance than lower resolution pictures. Simply resizing a smaller and lower resolution picture will not approve its appearance. For best results your choosen picture should be at least 50 KB and 480 x 480 pixels.
The program can accept photos with a maximum size limit of 3 MB. Pictures formatted as Bitmap, JPEG, TIFF and GIF are all accepted. Most photo formats will download from your hard drive onto the program screen in less than 3 minutes. All photos must be currently saved to your computer’s hard drive to work. If you don’t have your own picture you can always choose from one of Heritage’s stock photos.
Image Rules
Heritage Bank wants you to be able to express yourself on their cards as you see fit, but in order to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone they have a series of image rules to follow. Heritage Bank reserves the right to deny any photo upload that they feel is inappropriate or indecent. In order to have your card’s photo successfully uploaded please observe the following guidelines.
For starters, please do not attempt to upload any pictures with the names, logos, trademarks or designs of any other financial institutions or other credit card symbols. So if you have a Visa card you cannot upload images of the MasterCard logo. You also cannot upload any other products, services or businesses that are trademarked or copyrighted. It is illegal to use a photo or image that is copyrighted, branded or otherwise owned by someone else. This also means that you cannot use any images related to the Olympic games or artwork designs.
To ensure the safety of everyone please do not attempt to upload pictures of an indecent or aggressive nature. This means that you can’t use photos that contain nudity, semi-nudity, content that is of a sexually explicit nature, or suggestive images. You cannot add pictures that show scenes of violence or violent acts as well as references to drugs and alcohol. No political organisations or potentially controversial organisations can be featured on the card either. This could be certain images of cults, right wing or left wing political organisation or supremacy groups. Any reference to hateful or derogatory language or image will not be accepted.
Other pictures or content that Heritage Bank will refuse to upload are images that contain the names, addresses, phone numbers or website information of any business, club or organisation. You may not upload photos of any celebrity or famous person whether they are foreign or domestic. Again this is because of trademark and privacy laws. These could include but are not limited to musicians, actors, sports athletes and any other form of celebrity.
